A loaded shotgun won’t stop modern threats, but the right tools and strategy can make all the difference.

 John McGillin - Founder

After years of selling cybersecurity solutions to large corporations, it became clear that small businesses—the “little guys”—were often left behind. Many couldn’t afford the support they needed, and others didn’t even know where to begin when it came to securing their digital presence.

This challenge is deeply personal. A loved one ran a small financial firm with only a few employees, and firsthand experience revealed how difficult it was to navigate cybersecurity with limited resources. Long days ended in frustration when tools failed to work as expected, with no certainty that the right solutions were even in place.

That reality is a driving force behind Ironjaw. The mission is to provide cost-effective cybersecurity solutions to local businesses—tools that improve workflows and, more importantly, protect the digital perimeter from the ever-growing threat of cybercrime. A loaded shotgun won’t stop modern threats, but the right tools and strategy can make all the difference.

Yes, this is actually me. Some stories you just have to write yourself.

I love my family, my community, and this beautiful state I now call home. Tennessee wasn't where I started — but it's exactly where I chose to land, and that choice was no accident.
